Mission Partners

These are the people who are commended and/or supported by Lincoln Road Bible Chapel, who serve the Lord in mission overseas or within New Zealand.

Andrew Diprose – Fondi, Italy

Andrew is based in Fondi, Italy, where he lives with his wife Patrizia and sons Marco and Alan. Andrew works with immigrants who have migrated to the area seeking agricultural work. Many of these come from South Asian nations such as Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Work for these migrants (some of whom have no legal residency) is often poorly paid and under difficult conditions. In addition to their involvement with a small local church, Andrew and Patrizia seek to serve these migrant workers by doing things such as holding seminars on various topics for Indian women who have attended Italian language lessons, delivering food parcels, and sharing Scripture and Gospel presentations in their native languages.

Colleen Redit – Chennai, India

Colleen left New Zealand in 1964 as a young woman aged 24, and moved to Chennai, India. There, she began to care for the girls of the slums. Today, the ministry she began is known as Christian Missions Charitable Trust. CMCT serves the most vulnerable through education, healthcare, meals, and training, and by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Colleen’s vision is “to reach the poorest of the poor with the gospel, giving hope for a better life and a secure eternity.”

Russell Thorp – Beacon Partnerships

Russell is the Executive Director of Beacon Partnerships, an interdenominational evangelical organization that trains and develops Christian leaders abroad. The vision of Beacon Partnerships is “to see the people of God in Asia-Pacific equipped and engaged in mission through servant leaders who teach and apply the Word of God appropriately in their context.” Russell is married to Pearl, and they live in Auckland and have four adult children.
